Baby 1 (B1) 5 months +
Baby 2 (B2) 18 months +

Basic swimming skills such as keeping balance, basic kick, arm action, breathing and staying
afloat are taught while having fun through songs, toys and structured play. Parents will also
learn basic aquatic safety for their baby.

Pre-School Aqua Playgroup
幼兒親子游樂班

(3 years +) Duration: 25 min Class Size: 8
*A parent or guardian is required in the water

Pre-School Novice (PSN) – for children nervous around water. This class concentrates on building confidence in the water. Children will learn to propel themselves over a short distance while having fun through songs, toys and structured play.

Pre-School Swimmer (PSS) – for children able to swim for a short distance without any floatation aids and can submerge their head and go under the water easily. Children will develop the confidence to swim longer distance and learn simple arm and breathing techniques.

Junior Learn to Swim Classes
少年游泳班

Survival and rescue skills such as swim fully clothed, treading water and reach rescue will be covered.

Introductory (1A) (4 years +) Duration: 40 min Class Size: 4
*Small Group 小班教學*
For nervous or water phobia children. We work on independence in the water, safe entry and exit of the pool unaided, submerging, controlled breathing, open eyes under water, back floats, push and glide and flutter kicking in front and back while having fun through toys and structured play.

Freestyle Beginner (1B) (4 years +) Duration: 40 min Class Size: 4
*Small Group 小班教學 *
Children should be confident to submerge their head into the water without goggles, able to float on back and push & glide with kick for at least 3m. The aim of the class to introduce basic freestyle techniques: arm action, side breathing, building strength and endurance in front and back kicking.

Freestyle intermediate (2A) (5 years +) Duration: 40 min Class Size: 6
Children should be able to swim at least 10m of freestyle with side breathing and feel confident in deep water. Children will learn to swim for 25 m of freestyle with proper side breathing without any floatation. Basic backstroke
techniques will be taught.

Breaststroke Beginner (2B) (5 years +) Duration: 40 min Class Size: 6
Children should be able to swim at least 25m of freestyle with proper side breathing and back kicking. The aim of the class is to introduce breaststroke whip kick, arm action, sculling and coordination. Children will also learn to swim for 25m of backstroke with smooth body roll

Advance (3) (6 years +) Duration: 40 min Class Size: 6
Children should be able to swim at least 25m of freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke. The aim of the class is to refine stroke techniques and increase children’s endurance to swim longer distance. Advance swim skills such as body rotation, bilateral breathing, s-shape pull and butterfly kick will be introduced

Pre-training (PT) (7 years +) Duration: 55 min Class Size: 7
Swimmer should be able to swim 100m of freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke in good stroke technique. In this class we will maximize the efficiency of each stroke. Turning, diving and sprint training will introduce to improve swimmers swim time.

Swim Squad
泳隊訓練

Duration: 75 min
Junior Squad (JS)
By invitation and trial only. Well designed all year round training. Aim is to increase stamina and speed by different training methods such as repetition, interval, pyramids and negative splits training. Stroke technique is also covered for swimmers to achieve fluency and efficiency in swimming. Aqua Gym will endorse all squad members to join the competitions organized by the Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association and Hong Kong Triathlon Association
* Swimmers are required to attend the squad training at least twice a week.

Adult Swim Classes

Adult Beginner (AB)
成人初級班
Duration: 55 min Class Size: 6
For non-swimmers and adults nervous around water. The aim is to teach water confidence in deep water, introduce basic freestyle and breaststroke by teaching easy but critical skills of swimming (balance, rotation and alignment)

Adult Improver
成人泳術改良班
Duration: 55 min Class Size: 6
For adult swimmers who are able to swim 25m of freestyle or breaststroke and are comfortable in deep water. The aim is to improve stroke technique, increase stamina and introduce basic backstroke and butterfly.

Triathlon Swim
成人泳隊訓練
Duration: 55 min Class Size: 8
You need to be able to swim 100m of freestyle in 1min 50s and have good stroke technique in backstroke and breaststroke in order to join. Our qualified coaches offer you expert advice on: stroke correction and triathlon swim techniques. This training focus on improving endurance and speed by different training methods such as repetition, interval, pyramids and negative splits training.

Private Lesson
私人教授泳班

(4 years +) * Minimum 8 lessons*
Private Lessons are for the adult or child who needs or desires privacy with the full attention of our caring instructor.
Maximum 2 students (must be similar in swimming ability)

Lesson will be tailored according to the participant’s own interest. Open to all ages and abilities.

*Private lesson can be rescheduled once a month only without additional charge. A single lesson fee will be charged .once a month
if a pupil fails to give 5 hours advance notice of re-scheduling a class. *
